Frost advisories out, 47 mm of rain over the weekend!

Environment Canada has issued frost advisories for all the forecast areas in the Peace Country.

The weather office is predicting a low of -1 for low-lying areas, and +1 elsewhere.

It adds patchy frost damage in crops is possible and sensitive plants should be covered.

Environment Canada also says Grande Prairie had 47 millimetres of rain Friday through Sunday.

That works out to more than an inch and eight-tenths under the old scale.

There were 14.3 millimetres on Friday, 31.4 on Saturday, and 1.3 on Sunday.
