2022 By-Election Advance Polls open next week

The 2022 By-Election advanced voting is open starting October 8.

Residents can visit the Teresa Sargent Hall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. between October 8, and 15, to cast their advanced voting ballot.

This election will allow residents the opportunity to select a candidate to serve on City Council for the rest of this term, which ends in 2025.

Advanced voting is useful for residents to cast their ballot ahead of the election, in case their out of town, busy and can’t make it to a voting station on October 17, (Election Day) or just have the free time, and want to get it done ahead of time.

To vote, you must be 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, and a resident of Grande Prairie by October 17, 2022.
