Wildfire hazard rating moderate in Grande Prairie forest management area

The province says there is currently one active wildfire in the Grande Prairie Forest Management area, although that fire is listed as being under control.
In total this year, 72 wildfires have burned nearly 98 hectares of land in the GP Forest Management area.
The wildfire hazard for the region is listed as moderate.
