Grande Prairie McDonald’s manager earns national award

A manager at the McDonald’s restaurant in north Grande Prairie has been recognized as one of the company’s top managers for 2022.

Naliza Advincula first worked for McDonald’s in her home country of the Philippines six years before moving to Grande Prairie in 2007.

She started as a front counter crew member at the north end restaurant, eventually making her way up to her current manager’s position.

In a release, Advincula credits McDonald’s with teaching her essential management, technical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills, adding that receiving this award is both an honour and a dream come true for her.

The Outstanding Manager of the Year awards recognize top performing managers at McDonald’s across the country for their hard work, dedication and commitment to the restaurant chain and its customers.
