RCMP investigating shooting death in Dawson Creek

The R-C-M-P’s north district major crime unit in BC is investigating the weekend death of a man in Dawson Creek.

Police say they were called to a vehicle collision on Highway 97 and instead found a shooting victim.

Sergeant Chris Manseau says the crash was reported at about 6 p.m. on Sunday.

He says officers are looking for witnesses and would like to see any dashcam video from the highway near Arras Road around that time.
