Divers recover remains of 55-year-old man from Lake Newell

BROOKS, AB — The search for a missing diver at Lake Newell ended late Saturday afternoon.

The remains of the 55-year-old Brooks resident were successfully recovered at 5 p.m. Saturday.

The man was doing maintenance on a dam at Lake Newell on October 19 and never returned.

Occupational Health and Safety have been advised and are conducting an investigation.
