Wind warnings issued by Environment Canada

UPDATE: All the wind warnings have now ended.

Environment Canada has issued wind warnings for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview, Peace-River-Fairview-High Prairie-Manning, and Slave Lake forecast areas.

The weather office says there could be wind gusts up to 90 today (Sunday, October 30).

The forecast says the wind is expected to reach 60 gusting to 90 this afternoon before easing later today

The Wabasca-Peerless Lake-Gift Lake-Cadotte Lake forecast area also has a wind warning in place.
