County re-opening Township Road 704 after bridge construction

The replacement of the bridge near the Wapiti Nordic Ski Club has been completed.

The County of Grande Prairie has announced Township Road 704 between Highway 40 and Range Road 63 has re-opened.

The bridge replacement cost $785,000 and was part of $28 million that was set aside for the 2022 budget by the County Council to be used on new capital roads and bridge projects.

The County said in a release that they thank motorists for their patience and cooperation throughout the construction season.
