Community conversation-style open house on future vision of Composite High School planned for Thursday
The opening of the new Composite High school has given administration and staff the opportunity to work on a future vision, philosophy, and goals for the new facility, something they are calling the “Phoenix Philosophy”.
The school is hosting a community conversation open house from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on November 24th.
Principal Denis Vobeyda says getting feedback from the community as a whole is a very important part of this process.
“We have spent time talking to our students, our families specifically, and our teaching staff, but I think it is bigger than that and we need to make sure that everybody has that opportunity to talk it through, and then we gather that input, and then we are able to have what we have been calling our Phoenix Philosophy, and what it means to be a Phoenix here at the Grande Prairie Composite High School.”
