Mounties seek suspect in alleged sexual assault incident

The Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in an alleged sexual assault.

Police say on October 19, an individual got into a vehicle with a male in the area of 99 Avenue and Resources Road.

The victim was then reportedly driven to a separate location and sexually assaulted.

Mounties say the suspect vehicle is described as a red or maroon coloured van, possibly a Pontiac Montana, while the male suspect is described as being heavy set, and walking with a cane.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment, your local police, or Crime Stoppers.
