No charges being laid in October hit and run

Grande Prairie RCMP has decided that no charges will be laid in relation to a fatal hit and run in the city back on October 13.

At around 5:24 p.m. that day, a Red SUV collided with a person that had gotten out of their vehicle in the area of Resources Road and 76 Avenue.

The 40-year-old man was transported to Grande Prairie Regional Hospital with serious injuries and later died as a result of those injuries.

The SUV fled the scene but was located by Mounties.
