Evacuation order rescinded near Tomslake

Following a tanker truck crash carrying hazardous material between Pouce Coupe and the Alberta boundary on Wednesday afternoon, the evacuation order for the community of Tomslake has been rescinded.
A statement from the Peace River Regional District says the truck was monitored overnight.
The order covered around half a dozen properties in a one kilometer radius around the community of Tomslake on Highway 2.
The Regional District and Mounties have not indicated if there were any injuries linked to the crash or what spilled.
