Grande Prairie Curling Centre to host provincial event this week

Fifteen men’s teams, and three women’s rinks, will compete at the Grande Prairie Curling Centre this week for the Alberta Master Men’s and Women’s Championships.

That includes four teams out of Grande Prairie skipped by Marg Redlick, Bob Pisatcky, Colin Griffith, and Doug Small, along with Kelly Ollenberger’s team from Fort St. John.

The first draw is Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. There are also draws at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 1 and 7 p.m., Saturday at 11 am and 4 pm, and Sunday at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Spectators are welcome. Admission is free.
