Storm hire new Executive Director

The Grande Prairie Storm has hired a new executive director.

Nicole Menzies has lived in Grande Prairie for over 10 years.

In that time she has been an instructor at Northwestern Polytechnic as well as the University of Alberta in both business and elementary education departments.

She has also owned and operated businesses in both Grande Prairie and the metro New York city area that were based on event planning, community connection, social media and local support.

She also has considerable volunteer experience, including serving as chair of NWP’s President’s Ball committee on two occasions, and also serving as Community Outreach director for the Mamas for Mamas executive board.
