Beaverlodge emergency department closed until 8 am Monday

Alberta Health Services says what it calls “a gap in physician coverage” means the emergency department at the Beaverlodge Regional Hospital is closed until 8 am Monday.

The closure started at 3 pm Sunday.

AHS says other areas of the hospital are not impacted.

Anyone coming to the ED will be referred to emergency departments in other communities.

People with an emergency can still call 911. Health Link is also available at 811.
