Community Foundations joins another local non-for-profit in giving out federal recovery funding
The Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta is the second local organization that will be distributing Community Services Recovery Funding on behalf of the federal government.
In a news release, the CFNA said it has been allocated $515,000 to hand out to local charities, non-profits, and Indigenous Governing bodies, to help them adapt and modernize so that they can support pandemic recovery in their communities.
Funding through the Community Foundation will be focused on one-time projects that invest in the systems and processes involved in creating the internal workings of an organization’s overall structure.
Application forms can be found on the Community Foundation’s website www.buildingtomorrowtoday.com.
