UPDATE: Freezing rain warnings end

UPDATE: All the freezing rain warnings have ended.

Environment Canada has issued freezing rain warnings for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview, Peace River-Fairview-High Prairie-Manning, BC Peace River, and Slave Lake forecast areas.

The weather office says freezing rain is creating slippery conditions and roads, sidewalks and parking lots can become icy and slippery.

The forecast says the freezing rain is supposed to end by Saturday morning.

A winter storm warning is still in place for the Highway 97-Pine Pass area of B.C.
