Temporary road closure under Wapiti Bridge, detours in place

There is a temporary road closure in place at the entrance onto Highway 40 from Highway 666 under the Wapiti Bridge to erect bridge girders.
The off-ramp on Highway 40 to connect southbound onto Highway 666 is open for travellers, but northbound is closed to go under the bridge and connect back onto Highway 40.
The MD of Greenview says during the closure, traffic signals will be in place at the intersection of Highway 40 and Township Road 700, along with detour signage.
The work for the bridge girders is expected to take three weeks.
