Slave Lake Mounties look for tips in 43-year-old missing person case

RCMP in Slave Lake are once again asking for the public’s help in solving a historic missing person case.

Jeffrey Dupres, who was three years old at the time, went missing on April 24, 1980.

He went to go play at a friend’s house that day and was last seen in his front yard by his mother.

At the time of his disappearance, one of Jeffrey’s legs was shorter than the other, and police believe that he may still be walking with a limp.

They also believe that he may be going by a different name.

Mounties have created new age progression photos of what they think Jeffrey might look like today.

Anyone that has been in contact with Jeffrey or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Slave Lake detachment at 780-849-4999 or Crime Stoppers
