GPCSD appoints new principal for St. Patrick’s school.

A long-time educator within the Grande Prairie Catholic School district will serve as the first principal of the newly constructed St Patrick’s school.

Shelley LaCroix has been with the division for over 20 years, and is currently the principal at St Catherine’s school.

She has also held principal positions at St. Kateri, St John Bosco, and the former St Patrick’s school.

The new St. Patrick’s school is set to open this September on the site of the former school in Patterson, which was forced to close due to mould issues.
