Parking Bans back in effect

As of 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, the city has put parking bans back in place on all permanent snow routes in Grande Prairie.

The parking bans will be in place weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on all priority one and two routes within the city.

Residents are asked to remove their vehicles from being parked along priority one and two routes, thus ensuring safe access to roadways for snow removal operators.

The city is already actively plowing and sanding the priority road network in the wake of the latest snowfall.
