One JUNO award for Tenille Townes

Grande Prairie’s Tenille Townes has won one of the two awards she was nominated for at the JUNO awards.

She won the Country Album award for Masquerades.

High Valley was nominated in the same category for Way Back.

Tenille was also nominated in the Songwriter category, but that award went to R&B artist The Weeknd.

These awards were announced Saturday ahead of the televised portion Monday where Townes is scheduled to perform.
