Four candidates running for UCP nomination in Grande Prairie

The UCP Grande Prairie Constituency Association says four candidates are running to be the party’s candidate in the upcoming Alberta election.

They include city councillor Gladys Blackmore, former Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce chair Larry Gibson, Tayyab Parvez, and Nolan Dyck.

Incumbent UCP MLA Tracy Allard is not seeking re-election.

A candidates’ forum is planned for March 27.

The provincial election is set for May 29.
