Peace River School Division revises capital list

Converting the Manning bus garage into CTS space top the priority list of capital projects for the Peace River School Division.

Trustees approved changes to their 2024-2027 Capital list at their most recent meeting last week.

A new K-12 school for Red Earth Creek is second on the list, with design funding for that project already approved earlier this month.

Next is value scoping of a proposed joint school project at Fairview’s Northwestern Polytechnic, which would house students from Fairview High school, St Thomas More Catholic school and E.E. Oliver Elementary.

Rounding out the list are modernization projects at Worsley Central school, T.A. Norris middle school in Peace River, and E.E. Oliver Elementary in Fairview.
