Mar 23, 2023 | 12:52 PM

Two Fairview men have been charged following an attempted break-in at a rural lease site in Clear Hills County.

Fairview RCMP say they responded to a complaint at about 2:40 am last Friday.

When they arrived on the scene, they found and arrested two individuals, and seized a 2005 Dodge Ram truck that belonged to one of the suspects.

After obtaining a search warrant for the vehicle, police seized a number of break-in tools.

Thirty-three-year-old Tyler Ellery Horne and 57-year-old Gerald Scott Lyons have both been charged with break and enter, as well as four counts of possession of break-in instruments.

Lyons also faces one charge of driving a vehicle without plates properly displayed.

Both men have been released and are due in Fairview court on April 26.
