NWP, NLC included in province’s plan to expand post-secondary spaces
The province says the new budget contains $193 million to create 8000 new post-secondary spots in schools across Alberta.
That includes $985,777 to create 80 spots in the Practical Nurse program at Northwestern Polytechnic. There is also $368,587 to create 48 spots in the Primary Care Paramedic program at NWP.
There is also $429,090 for 60 spots in the Post-Licensed Practical Nurse program at Northern Lakes College.
The government says this expansion comes after 10,000 new spaces were created last year.
