Grande Cache RCMP charge local Education Assistant with sexual assault

An investigation conducted by the Grande Cache RCMP detachment and the Western Alberta RCMP General Investigation Section, has resulted in the arrest of a male Educational Assistant.

On April 18, Mounties received information that two minors had been sexually exploited by an E.A. An investigation ensued with assistance from the Western Alberta RCMP General Investigation Section. As a result, 28-year-old Grande Cache resident, J.J. Lenin Butler was arrested and charged with:

· Sexual assault (x3)

· Possession of child pornography

· Sexual exploitation (x2)

Following a judicial hearing, he was released on conditions and is set to appear in Grande Cache Provincial Court on May 4.
