Grande Prairie’s Jace Isley and the Red Deer Rebels have been eliminated from the WHL playoffs, after leading the series 3-0 and being up 2-0 in Game 4.
The Saskatoon Blades went to work and mounted a sweep of their own, only in reverse, being only the third team in league history to do so.
The Blades now turn their attention to Winnipeg, as they face off with the Ice in the Eastern Conference Final. it will start Friday in Winnipeg.
Isley finished the playoffs recording 6 goals and 6 assists in 12 games, recording a point per game. He also had 17 penalty minutes.
