AHS reminding Albertans of resources available to them ahead of Mental Health Week

Apr 30, 2023 | 6:00 AM

Alberta Health Services is bringing awareness to mental health from May 1 to the 7, Mental Health Week, by hosting events and highlighting resources for Albertans to use.

As one in five Canadians struggles with mental health issues or illnesses, it is important for AHS to inform residents of the resources available to them.

Resources such as the Wellness Exchange and Transform Your Stress courses, Text4Hope, and the Mental Health Helpline which can be reached by dialing 1-877-303-2642, are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
