Crews to finish 2022 Trail Program construction

The City of Grande Prairie has begun completing the leftover work from the 2022 Trail Program.
As part of the project, crews will install a storm catch basin, complete drainage repairs, and finish the trail connection by laying gravel and pavement, with all the work taking place at the northwest corner of 108 Street and 100 Avenue.
The City says it’s committed to enhancing safety and accessibility of the trail network, they ask while work is underway, pedestrians avoid the area and use alternate routes.
The project is expected to be completed by May 20.
