Evacuation order for Fox Creek to Little Smoky and immediate area

An evacuation order due to wildfires has been issued for the Town of Foxcreek, the Hamlet of Little Smoky and anyone currently residing in between those communities or in the immediate area.

All evacuees are told to take Highway 43 to Whitecourt and check in to the reception center at the Allan and Jean Millar Centre on Sunset Blvd.

To check for Highway closures use 511 Alberta and if you need help evacuating call, 780-524-6584.

Residents living between Township Road 683 and 670 and Range Road 232 and 211 must also be prepared to evacuate on a one-hour notice.
