Town of Valleyview under evacuation order, due to Greenview wildfires

The Town of Valleyview is now also under an evacuation order after fires in the MD of Greenview have begun impacting the Town.

Residents are being told to gather all important documents, and medication along with enough food, water, and supplies for at least three days.

Evacuees are told to go to Whitecourt using Highway 43 and go to the reception centre at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre. Anyone who needs help can go to the Polar Palace Arean on 52 Avenue in Valleyview. or call 780-524-9583.
