2023 War Amps Key Tags mailing out this week

Grande Prairie and the surrounding area residents who ordered a 2023 War Amps Key Tag should expect something in their mailbox this week.
Beginning in 1946, the service launched as a way to offer competitive wages for amputated veterans, as well as a way to serve Canadians and raise funds for the association’s programs — like CHAMP.
The Key Tags come with a specific, confidential code, making it easy for people who have lost their keys to have them returned. The finder can call the toll-free number on the back of the tag, or place them in any mailbox in Canada and War Amps will make sure they are returned
Today, the service continues to offer a job for amputees or people with disabilities, reconnecting 1.5 million Canadians with their lost keys.
