Welcome Home guide created for County of Grande Prairie residents

The Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership says it has come up with a Welcome Home Guide for County of Grande Prairie residents returning home after evacuation orders were lifted.

The 52-page online guide includes information on inspections, steps to take when getting home, and advice on many other things, including electricity, natural gas, water, and cleaning.

There is also a section on the County of Grande Prairie’s website for anyone with questions.

The Dunes West Wildfire Call Centre will be open from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Saturday through Monday. Anyone with questions can call 1-825-606-5092.

GPREP says the County Fire Marshall will be visiting properties through the weekend to assess damages as part of the process for fire reporting.

Anyone with damage to their property is asked to fill out a damage report form by June 16.
