Provincial, national and international recognition for Grande Prairie photographer’s work

A Grande Prairie photographer has received some recognition at Alberta, Canada, and world levels recently.

Connie Hartel of Hartel Photography had her image titled “The Fight of Your Life” accepted into the Best of Alberta Photography Exhibition run by the Alberta chapter of the Professional Photographers of Canada.

The Best of Alberta Exhibition is on display at the Montrose Cultural Centre through Wednesday.

This image was also given a Merit distinction in the Professional Photographers of Canada National Image Salon. The following two photos were accepted into the salon.

“Since joining the PPOC I have struggled. I have cried. I have learned. And I have now achieved four accreditations. I am an accredited photographer in Wildlife, Botanical, Ornithology, and Entomology. I am now working on my Architecture accreditation,” says Hartel in a release.
