Attempted arson in Mission Heights being investigated

The Grande Prairie RCMP is asking for public assistance in a suspected attempted arson in a city neighborhood.

In the late morning of Thursday, June 1, Mounties responded to a report of a fire in a back alley in the Mission Heights area between 107 Street and 79 Avenue.

The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.

There was a witness that reported seeing a man wearing all black and a white shirt around his shoulder that lit the fire and walked away.
