Young teen missing in Peace River

UPDATE: June 9 at 11:30 p.m. – Peace Regional RCMP are happy to report that Rocky Conrad Cardinal was located safe. The detachment would like to extend their gratitude to civilians that assisted in the seven day search through patrols, calling in tips, and volunteering services alongside Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical Service, Fire, and other countless support services.

The Peace Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 13-year-old Rocky Conrad Cardinal.

Rocky was last seen at bedtime on June 1, 2023, at his residence in Peace River and he was reported missing to RCMP on June 2 after he was found to not be at home in the morning.

Rocky is described as:

Short, black hair
Brown eyes
Light to medium skin tone
Approximately 5’4″
Approximately 110 lbs, thin build
Has a black under armor backpack

He is believed to still be in the Peace River area but has expressed interest in the past to go to High Level.
