Day 4 results from the GP Stompede WPCA heats

The fifth and final day of chuckwagon races at the Grande Prairie Stompede is set to get underway at 7 p.m. on Sunday. (June 4)

The championship heat is set now after the final qualifiers on Saturday night and will include local driver, Chanse Vigen.

The three drivers making up the rest of the heat include, Kurt Bensmiller, Rae Croteau Jr. and Ross Knight, as former Calgary Stampede Champion, Logan Gorst missed the cut by just 0.7 seconds.

As for day results, Rae Corteau Jr. had the fastest time of the night from barrel one in the tenth heat, posting 1:16.23, beating out Cody McCurrach by 1.57 seconds.
