Heat warnings, special air quality statements in place

Environment Canada says the predicted high is 29 for Thursday, then temperatures in the 30’s are expected Friday.

Heat warnings are in place for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview and Peace River-Fairview-High Prairie-Manning forecast areas.

Both areas also have special air quality statements in place.

Environment Canada says wildfire smoke is causing poor air quality and reduced visibility.
