Jun 14, 2023 | 3:42 PM

Canada Day is just over two weeks away, and the City is reminding businesses and groups to get their entries in for their Canada Day parade.

It will begin at 2 p.m. on July 1 at Hillside School, and make its way down 96 Street and 100 Avenue before eventually ending at Northwestern Polytechnic parking lot.

There is no cost for not-for-profit groups to enter a float in the parade, but there is a $50 charge for profit-organizations.

Entry forms can be filled out online through the city’s website.

Following the parade, Canada Day activities will shift over to Muskoseepi Park and will include free public swimming, live entertainment, a beer garden, and activities and games for the kids

The day will wrap up at around 11:30 p.m. with a fireworks display over the reservoir.
