City plans events for Pollinator Week

The city is planning a virtual scavenger hunt as part of its celebrations to recognize Pollinators Week, which runs all of this week.

Residents can register for the scavenger hunt by going online to www.goosechase.com, and entering the code GJDVED, to take part in an activity that teaches them about everyday practices that they can implement in order to create habitats for pollinators.

Participants will also have the chance to win one of five prizes through the scavenger hunt.

This week also sees GP Grows: On Tour begin, with the first tour set for Wednesday night from 6-7 p.m.
