Assault report leads to charges against two people
Grande Prairie RCMP says two people are facing charges that include, assault, forcible confinement, and robbery after an assault on another person.
In a release dated June 23, police say they got a report at 4:20 p.m. on May 27 of an assault. Mounties say they located a victim in Muskoseepi Park with what they describe as “minor physical injuries.”
The investigation led RCMP to a residence near 101 Street and 101 Avenue.
Two people from Grande Prairie, 31-year-old Travis Paradon-Netzlaw and 21-year-old Nerissa Bednar are also facing charges of assault with a weapon and assault while choking. Bednar has also been charged with conspiring to commit an assault.
