Mounties needing help identifying attempted theft suspect in Peace River

The Peace Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual who attempted to steal a bicycle in Peace River.

On June 22 at 2:30 a.m., an individual entered a residence in the area of 102 Street and used what police suspect to be bolt cutters and tried to steal a bicycle.

However, the property owner was able to deter the individual and they left empty-handed.

Mounties are actively investigating the incident and ask the public to contact them if they have any information on the attempted theft or the individual involved.

The individual is described as:

  • Wearing a white hoodie with Reebok Logo, ball cap, grey or black pants, light-coloured shoes
  • Light to medium complexion
  • Thin build
  • Carrying bolt cutters with red and black hand
