Eastlink Centre Triathlon registration closes Sunday

Registration for the 2023 Eastlink Centre Triathlon is coming to a close on Sunday, July 2.

Residents can register for a number of different categories, including try-a-tri, team relay, Special Olympics team, and the Kids of Steel (youth 16 and under) category, with Eastlink members getting a 10 per cent discount on registration fees.

The Kids of Steel category still has free spots available.

The city is also still looking for volunteers to help operate the race, volunteers will receive a free breakfast on the day of the event and a t-shirt.

A number of amenities also come with partaking in the triathlon, including a finishing medal, prize packs for each category winner, a commemorative cup, branded backpack, a race t-shirt, a finisher medal, a free bike safety check, and a free carb load dinner the night before the race.

The triathlon will take place on Sunday, July 9.
