Sidewalk closure in city’s downtown

The city is advising residents that a portion of the sidewalk on the south side of 100 Avenue is closed between 101 and 102 Street.

The city has closed that portion of the sidewalk in order to look into the impacts of movement detected in that area and determine appropriate next steps.

Signage and directions are in place to help pedestrians detour around that area.

No word was given as to how long that portion of the sidewalk will be closed.
