Fire in Richmond Industrial Area records no injuries

The Grande Prairie Fire Department says an outbuilding, cargo trailer, and quad were the only things lost in a fire in the city on Saturday evening.

At around 6:20 p.m. on July 1, the fire department responded to reports of a structure fire in the Richmond Industrial Park at 11066 92 Avenue.

Upon arrival firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire from an outbuilding and other items on an adjacent property.

The Platoon Chief, two engines, and ladder truck fought the fire quickly and efficiently to prevent the fire from spreading to other structures and items, while battling the strong winds.
