Vigen leads Rangeland Derby aggregate

Chanse Vigen is the aggregate leader after three nights of racing at the Calgary Stampede’s Rangeland Derby.

He is followed by Kurt Bensmiller, Obrey Motowylo, and Layne MacGillivray. Mark Sutherland is in seventh place.

Motowylo has the fastest time on Sunday night followed by MacGillivray, Jamie Laboucane and Vigen.

Sunday, July 9 also marked the 100th anniversary of the first official chuckwagon races to run at the Calgary Stampede.

The top three in the aggregate after Saturday will advance to the final to be held on Sunday, July 16.
