WBL playoffs start Thursday night

The Wheatbelt Baseball League playoffs will start tonight (Thursday, July 13).

There had been earlier indications that both semi-final series would start Friday night.

The Peace River Stampeders host the Grimshaw Huskies in Game 1 of their semi-final series Thursday night.

Grimshaw advanced with a 4-3 extra innings win over the Manning Mets in the wild card game played in Manning Wednesday.

The other semi-final series starts Friday night with the Rycroft Rage at home to the County Brewers.

Both games start at 7:15 p.m.
