A tender has been awarded to Watt Consulting Group for the development of a regional transportation, operational, and funding plan. The nearly $75,000 job is being funded by the Alberta Community Partnerships grant and is an inter-municipal project managed by the County and City of Grande Prairie, and Towns of Wembley and Beaverlodge.
Council approved a one-year extension for the Recreation Services Agreement between the County and the Town of Wembley for over $107,000. The agreement expired at the end of 2022.
A $15,000 standard County Waterline Recovery Fee for all new connections on systems owned and operated by the county was also approved. This will affect those in the Hamlet of La Glace.
