Court update: Trial dates set in two cases, sentence given in another
Trial dates set for company charged under OHS Act
Alberta Justice says trial dates have been set for a local company charged under the Occupational Health & Safety Act after the death of a worker.
The trial dates for Mainline Construction (2014) Ltd. have been set for June 3 to 11, 2024 in Grande Prairie court.
The charges stem from an incident on May 3, 2021, where a worker suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a pipe that was being loaded onto the back of a trailer. It happened near Sexsmith.
